He entered into a clinical trial in late 2009 and completed treatment in March 2010. During treatment, he met Catherine on an online HCV support network; he and Catherine subsequently entered into a collaboration to bring their research results, new found knowledge, and experiences to light in this guide. Catherine Olivolo is a Family Nurse Practitioner, respected community leader, wife, mom and Noni to seven blessed grandchildren. She was diagnosed with the Hepatitis C virus in early 2009.
